Outdoor Therapy

Outdoor therapy, also known as walk and talk therapy, is a form of therapy in which our session will take place in natural surroundings as we literally and figuratively walk together through your issues.

Video Therapy Session

Video therapy sessions are conducted using Zoom and can enable you the client to access a therapy session from the comfort of your own home. This form of therapy provides you with flexibility and convenience.

Grief and Loss

The most common cause of grief is the loss of a loved one but it can also apply to a loss of job, relationship, self and anything that is leaving you feeling profound sadness.

Feelings of sadness are a natural reaction to grief but when these feelings begin to overwhelm you or manifest into feelings like depression then therapy can help you.

I have personal and professional experience with grief and provide a warm, safe and supportive environment in which to hold and explore your grief with you.

 

Stress

Stress has become more prevalent in people’s lives as demands and time start to work against each other. The unpredictability of the last 18 months has also increased stress levels due to a lack of control over one’s life.

Stress can present itself through symptoms including low energy, headaches, insomnia, digestive issues and a loss of sex drive.

Stress can be effectively managed through effective life style changes, stress management techniques and challenging unhelpful thoughts and reactions to stress. I will work with you to explore all of these areas before we work on effective stress management plans together. 

Depression

Depression can stem from all aspects of life including your work life, family life, relationships and health.

Some of the symptoms of depression can include irritability, low self-esteem, worrying, feelings of helplessness and withdrawal from family and friends.

I will sit with you and your depression exploring its origins and unhelpful thoughts or patterns that are contributing to it’s existence. The aim of our sessions will be to manage, reduce and in some instances eliminate your depression.

 

Anxiety

Everybody experiences anxiety during their lives and a healthy amount of anxiety can provide a positive indication that something is important to you.

It is however possible to experience unhealthy levels of anxiety that may lead to symptoms such as; feeling a sense of panic, nervousness, difficulty concentrating on the present and avoidance of people and situations.

I will help you to identify and explore the root cause of your anxiety, peel back the layers to see where the anxiety manifests itself and work with you to manage the presence of anxiety in your everyday life.

Gestalt Therapy is an explorative and experiential therapy that aims to enhance your awareness, freedom and self-direction in order to gain a whole understanding of yourself.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical therapy that breaks down problems into smaller and more manageable issues before addressing each specific issue or individual emotion separately.
